Support from Academic IT

Learning technologists in Academic IT (IT Services) can meet with individual faculty members on request to recommend or research tools to help with their teaching and educational needs. They can also support course developers to design rich, technology-enhanced learning experiences. If you are in the Medical Sciences Division, we will put you in touch with the MSD Learning Technologies team who work closely with IT Services and also provide additional medical sciences-specific services.

Academic IT's learning technologists work closely with colleagues who develop and support the University's core digital learning and teaching services:

  • Canvas, the University's new Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
  • WebLearn, the University's VLE
  • Replay, Lecture Capture service
  • Turnitin, plagiarism awareness service
