The first step in the implementation of the Digital Education Strategy was to understand more fully the current patterns of technology use in teaching and learning, and to get a sense of the most important areas for resourcing from the perspective of academic staff and students.
The Digital Education Strategy Implementation Group consulted departments and faculties (in Michaelmas Term 2016) to review the Strategy document and consider collectively:
a. how digital technology is currently being used within their subject area, both by individual teaching staff and on a course or subject-wide basis, and
b. what the future use of technology within the course or subject area might be.
A PDF of the survey [270kb] from the consultation can be downloaded for reference.
