Entries for this year's OxTALENT competition closed early in May, and the judges have been busy reading, commenting and discussing the 64 entries of exceptional quality since then.
Like last year, the 'Research Poster' category was the most popular with a total of 24 entries, followed by 18 entries in the 'Innovative Teaching and Learning with Technology' category. This shows that a lot of great work is being done in these areas at Oxford. There was also a large amount of entries for 'Public Engagement'. This year, we have once again seen thoughtful, creative and innovative ideas as part of the OxTALENT competition and the judges were faced with difficult decisions in all categories, including the ones mentioned above as well as the categories 'Outreach and Widening Participation', 'Digital Media' and 'Data Visualisation'.
By now, the judges have made a decision and chosen their winners. The results will be revealed at the awards ceremony on June 13.
You can follow the awards ceremony (invitation only) online, by following the hashtag #OxTALENT2018 on Twitter and by keeping an eye on our Digital Education blog where we will be announcing the winners as soon as they are revealed at the event.
